Current DealerScience Customers

We import pricing for many dealerships. If you would like to set your own pricing, please contact your Account Manager. If your dealership is already set to change your pricing, here’s how you can adjust the pricing in the DealerScience backend:

  1. Go to www.dealersicence.com and click “Sign In” in the top right corner and sign in to your account.
  2. Click the wrench symbol  in the top right and select “Pricing Setup.”
  3. Update your dealership’s pricing to all cars, specific models, or specific trim levels:
    1. To make updates to all cars in inventory, use the top left menu.
    2. To make updates to all cars of a specific model in inventory, use the menu below that model name in the lefthand column.
    3. To make updates to all cars of a specific trim level in inventory, use the field in the columns on the right of the page.

A few tips:

  • If the markup is negative, make sure to include a minus sign. No need to add a plus sign.
  • Do not press enter between updates.
  • Only click “Apply to all cars” once all updates have been made to the sheet — this crunches lots of numbers and takes some time to update the backend!
  • We know you know this but as a reminder, different car manufacturers have different customizations so you may not see everything mentioned here when you log in based on your dealership.

Please note that only certain users are permitted to change pricing inside the DealerScience system. If you think you should have this ability and cannot access the feature, please contact us at support@dealerscience.com or 888-813-5311 x2.

  1. Go to www.dealerscience.com and click “Sign In” in the top right corner and sign in to your account.
  2. Click the wrench symbol   in the top right and select “Settings.”
  3. Scroll down to section  “Dealer Fees.”
  4. To change a fee, find the fee you would like to change. You can:
    1. Change the price
    2. Make it user editable
    3. Delete the fee
    4. Make the fee state-specific
  5. To add a new fee:
    1. Scroll down and press “Click here to add a new fee.”
    2. Change the name and price of the fee.
  6. Click “Apply All Changes” when done.

  1. Go to www.dealerscience.com and click “Sign In” in the top right corner and sign in to your account.
  2. Sign in to your account.
  3. Click the wrench symbol   in the top right and select “Users.”
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the list and click “Add.”
  5. Once your updated all the information you need, scroll to the bottom of the form and click “Update” to add the new user.

A few tips:

  • We find it’s best to create a username using a person’s first initial and their last name. For example, new user Ehrlen Meyer would be emeyer.
  • If the new user is with you, have them type their personal password into the password fields. If not, use a generic password that you can provide the new user until they can update it.
  • Don’t forget to set your permissions! They’re automatically set to allow the fewest permissions so if you forget to adjust, no worries! You’ll just have to edit the user later on. HERE’s how.
  • Not able to walk the user through the login process yourself? Send them an email with the following information!You’ve been added to our DealerScience account! Here’s how you access it:
    Go to dealerscience.com and in the top right corner click ‘Sign-In’
    Dealership: Update with dealership name
    Username: Update with username
    Password: Update with generic password you assigned
    (You can change your password once you have logged in. HERE’s how.)

Forgot your password? Happens to the best of us. We’ve made it easy to fix.

  1. Go to www.dealerscience.com and click “Sign In” at the top right corner.
  2. At the bottom of the pop-up window, click “Forgot Your Password?”.
  3. Enter the dealership email address associated with your account.
  4. Check your email for an email from support@dealerscience.com with the subject “DealerScience Password Reset Instructions.”
  5. Click the link in the email, enter in your new password, and submit.

Interested Dealers

DealerScience provides penny-perfect, out-the-door payments that include up-to-date incentives, residuals, money factors, any dealer fees, and customer-specific taxes. No estimates here.

Additionally, DealerScience plug-ins can be customized per dealer based on each dealership’s needs and desired level of transparency with the customer.

We’re our own data provider, handling all the data in-house.

You provide us with a feed and we use that to provide you with dealership specific, up-to-date pricing.

Every dealer runs pricing differently – we get that! Our tools can structure off of any parameter.

You have the ability to set pricing rules and can also manually set pricing per VIN, per model, or across the board.

Our tools were originally developed by a third generation dealer who couldn’t find the customizable tools that he wanted. Meeting each dealership’s needs is our bread and butter and we are happy to work with you to make our solutions work in your dealership.

We include customer-specific tax based on zip code.

DealerScience payments are penny-perfect and will line up to your internal desking tool.

We have the ability to mark-up rates/money factor on a per vehicle basis and/or across the board.

We have a dynamic disclaimer that automatically updates based on the parameters of the custom lease or finance payments. This not only protects the dealer, it protects the customer and sets expectations.
