We are excited to release updates to our login and user management for our DealerScience dealers! Our product and development teams worked together to create a new experience based on your feedback. Not only will you notice a new interface, you’ll also see updated functionality to keep our tools fast, simple, and efficient for you.
What’s new with user management?
We’ve renamed our user permissions levels and more clearly defined what each type of user has access to. In addition, we’d made it really easy to add custom user roles. Do you want someone on your team to have access to desking and settings? Now you can do that! When you add a new user, simply select “Add a Custom User Role…” from the dropdown and you’ll be guided through everything you need to get set up.
Does that mean I need to reset all the user permissions for my dealership?
Nope! We made sure to carry over all previous user permissions. If we had any questions, your Customer Success Manager has likely already been in touch with you to sort it out!
I’m not so sure about this. Can you walk me through it?
Of course! Everything that was updated was done to make this easier and more efficient for you. But we know it’s still different than what you’re used to. Get in touch with your Customer Success Manager and they’ll be happy to walk you through the new system.
